Walter Engrum, President, started out as an apprentice under the guidance of his father William R Engrum at the age of 13. Basic skills taught enabled him to get a job with other well known companies. With over 31 years of experience, Walter Engrum took this experience and founded a small, "hands-on" family business in Maryland that has rapidly evolved into a customer friendly, highly organized business. Walter Engrum brings to Double R A/C & Heating, LLC, over 25 years of technical experience, ten years of Maintenance and Home Improvement skills, and six years of Welding from the U.S Army.
Double R A/C and Heating's game plan includes controlling growth. Our goal is to provide service to a core group of customers. "Being a large company is nice", says President, Walter Engrum, "but when you become too large, you lose control. You can't pay attention to the finer details of providing quality customer service. Keeping things under control also benefits the customer in other ways. By limiting growth we maintain low overhead and pass the savings onto our customers. Also, we don't need to spend excessive amounts on advertising and sales commissions, further saving our customers money."
